WBUR has hosted an annual gala — our premier fundraising event — for 23 years. In 2025, we’re mixing things up!
The WBUR Anniversary Bash: 75 Years of Life Out Loud celebrates 75 years of local journalism in Boston and those who have made it possible. A capstone dinner celebration and program within The WBUR Festival weekend, the Anniversary Bash will raise critical funds to support WBUR throughout the year.
This year’s program will include a conversation with Nobel laureate and economist Paul Krugman.
Friday, May 30
6-9:30 p.m.
915 Commonwealth Ave.
Boston, MA 02215
Paul Krugman is a Nobel-winning economist and professor, best known to the public for his 25 years of commentary on the intersection of economics and government with The New York Times. He continues his commentary in a newsletter on Substack.
